If opening a replay this way doesn't work for you it wouldn't work natively in the client either (at which point the cause will still be a corrupted file 99% of the time). In any case opening the replays the same way the client itself does should work 99,99% of the time.
UseRads is probably some workaround Riot devs had for some issue. If you haven't already, follow the prompts to verify your channel. From the top right, click Create Go live. Go to the shortcut tab and you should see a text line for Target 3. Right click the shortcut and go to properties 2.
Solution #2: you do the same thing as this up until you create the shortcut.
